Consultation, Free medical examination and medicine offered for the 3rd and 4th time & gifts for Family under preferential treatment policy

On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2020), the “Golden Heart Foundation” together with the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University in collaboration with the People’s Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province carried out many activities of gratitude, taking care of family under preferential treatment policy, revolutionary contributed families and Vietnamese heroic mother in Ben Tre province.
And the program “Consultation, Free medical examination and medicine offered – 3rd & 4th time” on July 25, 2020 and July 26, 2020 was conducted to take care of the health of disadvantaged people in Bao Thanh commune. – Ba Tri district and Dai Hoa Loc commune – Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province in the atmosphere of excitement and joy. The program implements health counseling, communication and education on optimal nutrition for each age group, personal hygiene and proper hand washing, comprehensive dental hygiene, prevention of some common diseases, COVID-19 prevention, diphtheria…
With the participation of more than 50 doctors, pharmacists, technicians of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City, and the deployment with many machines and equipment including: blood pressure monitor, Blood Glucose Meter, hepatitis B test, urine test, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, screening breast cancer, cervical cancer, X-ray, musculoskeletal examination and physical therapy, dental examination for children, general examination and free medicines offered … bring to the citizens a comprehensive health examination.
Also on this occasion, the Organizing Committee also presented 20 medicine cabinets and sent healthy wishes to Vietnamese heroic mother and revolutionary contributed families; awarded 20 scholarships to students who have difficult circumstances but have the will to strive and achieve good academic results. In addition, the Green Summer Volunteers of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City organized a children’s playground for the children to have a complete and meaningful summer.
