Launching Fund for Quality of Life

On April 29th, 2022, Fund for Quality of Life held the launching ceremony, and at the same time, signed a cooperation agreement to implement the project “Enhancing the physical condition of Vietnamese citizens”.

All units cooperated to sign the project “Improve the physical condition of Vietnamese citizens” in the period of 2022 – 2026 for 5 schools in Ho Chi Minh City and Ben Tre.
The project “Improving the physical condition of Vietnamese citizens” is the 6th project of the Foundation, supported by the Vietnam Young Physician Association, the Department of Education and Training of Ben Tre province, the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University, Students Assistance Center at Ho Chi Minh city and Green + Group collaborated to implement.
In the period of 2022-2025, The project “Improving the health of Vietnamese citizens” aims to improve the physical condition of 1,000 students during 4 academic years of study at 5 schools in Ho Chi Minh City and Ben Tre province with a total budget of 30 billion VND.
The overall goal of the project is to assess the current situation and implement intervention models for the physical and mental health of students. Specifically: (i) Assess students’ stature and nutrition in terms of weight, height, complete blood count, eyesight, sexual and reproductive health; (ii) Assessment of mental health, levels of anxiety disorders and depression and well-being in students; (iii) Deploy an intervention model to improve stature and nutrition for students; (iv) Implement an intervention model to improve mental health and well-being.

Fund for Quality of Life was established on March 16, 2022 under Decision No. 187 of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Foundation’s head office is located on the 3rd floor, Green Plus building, 73-75 Tran Trong Cung, Tan Thuan Dong ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City and has a nationwide coverage.
The Fund was found with the mission: Support difficult people and disadvantaged groups in society; Improve the quality of life for Vietnamese people; Planting trees – greening the country – protecting the environment.
Currently, the Fund for Quality of Life is implementing 8 projects:
- Project 1: Free medical examination and medicines offered to poor people
- Project 2: Vaccine Supply
- Project 3: Planting trees, adapting to global climate change.
- Project 4: Medical examination and treatment for 5 million people – For a healthy Vietnam.
- Project 5: Launching and guiding the movement of all citizens to do physical activity to improve health.
- Project 6: Enhancing the physical condition of Vietnamese citizens.
- Project 7: Digitizing the health sector & improving the capacity of health workers in local.
- Project 8: Building green standard housing.

Department of Science and Technology Ho Chi Minh City signed an agreement to implement the innovation startup program for the period 2022-2026 with Green+ Group.
Over the past time, the Fund For Quality of Life has cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University and the University Medical Center, Ho Chi Minh City to carry out 11 rounds of free medical check-ups and distributions for poor people in Ben Tre, giving scholarships to thousands of students with difficult circumstances. At the same time, in collaboration with Ben Tre province to launch a project to plant 10 million trees.
In 2021, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, the Foundation cooperated with the Vietnam Young Physician Association, Green + Group to organize 15 programs “For a healthy Vietnam” including financial support, medical supplies for people and frontline medical workers to fight the epidemic.
In particular, in order to launch the movement of the whole citizens to exercise to enhacing their health, improve their resistance, thereby helping to prevent Covid-19, the Fund for Quality of Life together with Green Plus Group has coordinated with the Ministry of Health, the Central Committee of the HCYU, the Young Physician Association VietNam and many provinces and cities over the country, to launch and guide 7 movements of the exercise “Overcoming the fear of nCoV”.
The project has received the response of hundreds of thousands of businesses and millions of people across the country. Thereby, contributing to promoting the spirit of self-training and strengthening the body’s resistance to the Covid-19 epidemic.
The exercise “Overcoming the fear of nCoV” by the Fund for Quality of Life attracted the most participants.
Fund For Quality of Life was founded by CEO Dang Duc Thanh (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green Plus Group). He has been at the helm of the Fund Management Board as president.

The Fund For Quality of Life was consulted by 4 experts: Head of the Committee Prof. Dr. Le Quan Nghiem – Former Vice Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City; Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Thi Bay – President of Fund Foundation for Quality Of Life; Mr. Johan Nyvene – Chairman of the board of directors of Vietnam International Securities JSC (HSC); Ms. Ha Thi Thu Thanh – Chairman of the board of directors of Deloitte Vietnam Company Limited.
