Summary & Awarding of the National Contest “Overcoming the fear of nCoV” in Hanoi

On the evening of March 29, 2022, at the Children’s Palace in Hanoi, Central Executive Committee of the HCYU, in collaboration with the Vietnam National Union of Students Central Committee, Vietnamese Student Development and Support Centre, Green+ Group, Fund For Quality of Life, Hoa Binh Construction Group, Nippon Paint (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. and Binh Duong Minerals & Construction Joint Stock Company held the Summary Ceremony and awarding the Video clip competition “Overcoming the fear of nCoV”.

After 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received the attention and response of a large number of students, youth union members and people across the country with a total of 5,310 video clips submitted to the contest. The contest clip is a video clip recording the image of a group or individual performing the “Exercise to Overcome the Fear of nCoV” including 07 moves by author Dang Duc Thanh (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green+ Group). The exercise consists of 7 simple, easy-to-practice movements that do not take up much space, both the elderly and children can practice. The movements focus on the chest, arms, legs … combined with deep breathing, helping blood circulation. In particular, it helps strengthen and restore lung function, keeping the lungs healthy to prevent Covid-19. This exercise has also been recommended by the Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Young Physician Association to strengthen health and prevent Covid-19.

The total prize value of the contest is 685 million VND. In which, each province will receive 10 million VND for the first, second and third prize at provincial level; 5 prizes for the 5 provinces with the most entries, worth 5 million VND and 10 prizes for the 10 best video clips in the final round.

Through the careful and objective selection process of the contests by the Jury Board of the contest; The first prize in the contest worth 30 million VND went to the Youth Activity Center – Kien Giang Province; The second prize worth 20 million VND went to Huynh Tan Phat High School – Ben Tre Province and the third prize worth 10 million VND went to Chau Thanh High School – Kien Giang Province.
